For those who fight for it, life has a flavor the protected never know.....first thing I saw as we entered the C-4 compound up the beach from CuaViet...never have I forgotten those words, nor will I.....I was in 81 MM at C-4 and oceanview til you guys took a hike on me in April or May, sent me to da grunts of A company 1/3.......Had to some great times in CuaViet....Semper Fi.....God Bless all you Jarheads

I was with the 3rd anti-tanks(Ontos)and we made landings on Operations Deckhouse VI and Desoto usings Grunts from First Bn/ fourth marines in the year 1967, February thru late march. We operated off of two ships: Uss Vancouver and Uss Ogden. What a great website you have, you have done yourselves and all of our departed brothers proud!!

Assigned to 1st Tracs May 69 at Cua Viet. Bn.Supply Most of the unit was gone. Took a nice boat ride on LST 1077--Park County to Okinawa. Tractor watch in the well deck. Couldn't stand up only lay down. GySgt Gerald O'Chel living in Mich. as of last year. Agent Orange screwed him up while with the 26th Marines. Miss those supply guys.
