I was a radio operator (2531) with H&S Co. 1st Tracs from Christmas Day '68 until we left for Okinawa. I'm reaching out to anyone who was there at the same time. I read some of the memories in other posts, New Jersey off-shore etc. Anyone remember the patrol to the south of camp when we blew up a hidden weapons cache in a rice paddy. One of the guys I was on patrol with tossed a grenade in the paddy just for fun. Got a huge secondary explosion!! it was crazy!T

Hello, I am studying history of Incheon Landings during Korean War.
May I have any valuable records regarding the 1st AmTrac Bn? What date did you leave the camp in California and arrive Pusan?
Thank you if I get any reply, Wookhan Jung

I was with 2nd tracs in 72 and 73, I was supplsed to be the radio tech. We were the last P5 platoon to be send to the Med. When we got back the P7's were coming in. I liked the simple P5's a lot better.
