Was in FLSG-Bravo, Preservation Packaging and Packing section,in Chu Lai in 1966 and at Camp Books (Red Beach) in 1967. Two buddies already deceased probably from Agent Orange poisoning. Need to talk to anyone who was there at that time to see if you also have dioxin poisoning.

I am looking for anyone who served with L/CPL Kurt C. Hussmann, 3rd AmTracs, 'B' Company, 1st PLT, 1st Marine Division. He was killed on November 25, 1968.
Kurt was my younger brother; I may be visiting Viet Nam in the next 4-6 months and would like to visit the area where he served. Any information about him or the area around Da Nang in late 1968 would be appreciated.

I served from May 1958 - March 1962. 18 months on Okinawa, summers at Little Cree Virginia. Med and Carrribean cruises. Was at GItmo for Bay of Pigs. I served under Gunny Crane. I had the dubious distinction of being a private Crew Chief on the lead tractor. My first two years I had a Summary and Special. Squared away my last two years and received meritopious promotion.

A special thanks to Martin Johnson, Bob Throm, Hugh Connelly, Mike Silcerman, and Gene Miller for the excellent program and presentation at the dedication of the Amgrunt Memorial in Quantico. I, as well as my family, was very impressed, but not surprised, by the professionalism in which the Memorial Wall was setup. The meories that were shared on the 8th of September will remain with us for the remainder of our days.
